And it takes hours to complete.
All my paperwork is in to my new company, so I’m technically an official employee. The new career path is already rewarding, with the second day of meetings almost complete. We’ve put a lot of good ideas down on … paper, Google documents, and white boards. Next is how to execute and such. I received a fantastic compliment yesterday that reaffirmed this decision to come out here. The execs believe I “get it,” and when talking to some of the senior employees, I feel comfortable and knowledgeable. It’s a good place to be.
Actions speak louder than words, though. Execution is key. These first few months will be a blur. Tomorrow is place hunting and a smidge of R&R.
